Winter Salads and Vegetables June 13

Join Louisa Allan, co-owner at Very Good Falafel, for an afternoon of winter vegetable cookery!

Winter is a beautiful time to slow cook, roast and braise vegetables, but also to enjoy citrus and new season olive oil. In this small group class, Louisa will show you techniques to get the best from your winter vegetables. We’ll make stuffed onions, a vibrant citrus salad and slow roasted vegetables. The class will also coincide with the arrival of new season olive oil from our Victorian supplier Lisadurne Hill. We will make good use of this special moment!

The class is part demonstration, part hands on, all fun. We will make five vegetable based dishes, have a generous late lunch, drinks and dessert. Then, you’ll go home with a recipe booklet and lots of enthusiasm and confidence for vegetable cookery! We hope you can make it.
